PPI (Proton Pump Inhibitors)

Proton pump inhibitors (PPI) are one of the most commonly used drugs around the world, second in usage only to statins. They are a group of drugs commonly used as a standard therapy in gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and acidity disorders of the upper gastrointestinal tract.
